ABOUT
Hasco Duo (Amanda DeBoer, soprano, and Jesse Langen, guitar) is an experimental duo that performs both original and commissioned music. They have worked with composers Fredrick Gifford, Marcos Balter, Eliza Brown, Jonathan Sokol, Max Grafe, Morgan Krauss, Ravi Kittappa, Anthony Donofrio, Ray Evanoff, Luis Fernando Amaya, Tomas Gueglio, and Elenna Sindler, among others.
They have been featured on the Resonant Bodies Festival, at Film Streams Omaha, SEAMUS, New Music DePaul, Frequency Series, ADNODE Festival, Omaha Femme Fest, OPTION Series, and Live at OutrSpaces series, and have been in residence at Avaloch Farm Music Instititue.
Amanda DeBoer Bartlett is an experimental singer and classical music curator based in Omaha, Nebraska. She is a member of Ensemble Dal Niente, and is a co-founder of Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble. She also organizes an experimental performance festival called Omaha Under the Radar.
An avid player of new music, Jesse Langen has premiered dozens of pieces, many of which were written for him. Along with Hasco Duo, he can be heard as a soloist, in chamber collaborations, and with Ensemble Dal Niente, KATET, Compas, and Kilgubbin Brothers.
